We've had so many sessions and so little time to blog about them. Here is a small sample of what we've been up to lately.

Summer has begun!

Summer is finally here and to celebrate our friends Amy and Scott opened their heated pool and we went for dinner last night! My poor friend Amy broke her finger yesterday as well so I went over and offered all the moral support I could. Send some good vibes her way if you get a chance. Here are some pics of our kids enjoying the pool yesterday! Amy's finger--ouch!

ABC Expo

Just a few quick pics of our Baby Expo booth from this year! And a huge thanks to the girls for working so hard that day! I could not do what I do without you! The expo was a great success and we have already booked some appointments from those who saw us there! Thanks to Mix 96.5 as well for all your help that day!

ABC EXPO

Hey everyone! The 5th annual ABC Expo will take place tomorrow April 19th, 2008 from 12-4. Photography by Carrie will be there for the third year in row! And let me tell you we will be having some AMAZING giveaways! To give you some hints, we will be giving away over $1000.00 in prizes as well as tons of coupons! In Celebration of Tax Day

Alright, so in celebration of all of us having a shortage of cash we decided to have a sale here at Photography by Carrie. It will only last ONE day though! Full of Smiles

This is my cousin's new baby Jack. He was such a sweet little baby. He kept smiling over and over again during his session so I believe he's going to be such a happy little guy as he grows up. Here's a sneak peek for you Josh and LeeAnn. Enjoy!

A Time to Celebrate

I had the amazing opportunity to photograph this sweet angel the other day. She just makes me smile. Most of you know that I am a member of Celebrating Adoption which is an organization of photographers that donate their time and proofs to new adoptive families. Well, this is one of my recent sessions. This sweet baby girl is from Guatemala and her parents and her big brother are just in awe of her--as was I. She just has this quiet demeanor that makes your heart melt just looking at her. To the Newcomers -thank you for allowing me to photograph your beautiful baby girl.

A Moment

Friday night I had one of those moments that I've only dreamed about-until now. I have my work in the mall!! "Squeal!!" And to make it even sweeter my best friends helped me put up the display late Friday evening. We had so much fun and looked hilarious I'm sure with our hammers and our drills walking through Macy's. I know its probably not the largest accomplishment of a life--but this is big for me. One of my favorite quotes is "I am Here to LIVE OUT LOUD." That's simply me. I am always wanting to go big--to live life to its fullest and not worry about all the small stuff. I am living my dream and seeing my work in the mall --well, it makes my world a little brighter. So go check out the display. It should be completely done Monday or Tuesday of this week. And thank you to everyone who made this possible, including all my adorable sweet clients who make my life and my job so worth it!

Brandy's Trip to Guatemala

Hi all! I wanted to take a minute to say thank you to everyone who prayed for me and the rest of the mission team who served in Guatemala in March. It really means a lot to know that so many of you had us in your thoughts and prayers.

We had an absolutely amazing time! We all stayed and served at New Life Children's Home in Guatemala -www.nlch.net. There are 52 children who live at the home and 400 who attend school there. We did a lot of various projects at the home and school including painting, planting, cleaning, sewing, and building desks. We also spent a lot of time with the children doing devotional activities, playing UNO, talking, and even painting each others finger nails. We even spent one day site-seeing in Antigua. I took a LOT of photos while I was there- Carrie has trained me well!
